The Razer Kraken V4 X Wired Gaming Headset is designed to deliver immersive gaming audio with powerful sound performance and vibrant RGB lighting. Powered by advanced Razer™ TriForce 40 mm drivers, detailed highs, balanced mids, and deep bass are produced separately to create a clear and dynamic soundstage. With support for 7.1 surround sound on Windows, precise positional audio can be experienced, allowing footsteps, in-game effects, and directional cues to be heard with greater accuracy during gameplay.
A convertible USB-C and USB-A wired connection is included to provide flexible compatibility across multiple platforms such as PC, Mac, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch (docked mode), Steam Deck, and mobile devices. Comfort is ensured through breathable fabric memory foam ear cushions, which are designed for long gaming sessions while maintaining proper airflow and soft support. The headset is also equipped with Razer Chroma™ RGB lighting, allowing customizable lighting effects that can synchronize with supported games and devices.
A patented three-part driver design is used to separate high, mid, and low frequencies. By dividing the audio output into individual sections, sound distortion is reduced and a more detailed listening experience is produced. This design allows explosions, dialogue, and ambient sounds to be heard clearly without overlapping frequencies.
A unidirectional cardioid microphone is integrated to capture the user’s voice while reducing background noise. The retractable design allows the microphone to be pulled out when needed and tucked neatly into the earcup when not in use, ensuring a clean and practical setup.
Advanced 7.1 surround sound processing creates a realistic audio environment for supported Windows systems. Sounds are positioned around the player to improve spatial awareness, helping identify the direction of enemy movement, environmental cues, and in-game actions.
The headset is fitted with breathable fabric and memory foam ear cushions designed to provide long-lasting comfort. The oval earcup design allows a snug fit around the ears, helping reduce external distractions while maintaining airflow to minimize heat buildup.
