A proprietary Beamwidth Matching Waveguide has been implemented to maintain tonal consistency through the crossover region, ensuring uniform projection and clarity. The AMM108 has been designed for flexibility in both permanent installations and portable systems, where it can be deployed as a main loudspeaker, floor monitor, fill, or delay. Consistent voicing with Bose Professional AM array modules and AMU utility loudspeakers allows system designs to be expanded or adapted with ease while preserving a cohesive sound signature.
High-Output Coaxial Performance
A shared-magnet coaxial driver configuration has been integrated, allowing high sound pressure levels to be produced from a compact enclosure. The combination of the 1.7-inch compression driver and 8-inch low-frequency driver has been optimized to deliver clarity, impact, and controlled directivity in medium-throw applications.
Multipurpose Deployment Flexibility
The enclosure has been designed for use as a main loudspeaker, stage monitor, fill speaker, or delay element. System bandwidth can be extended down to 35 Hz when paired with the AMS115 subwoofer, enabling full-range reinforcement for live music and spoken-word applications.
Consistent System Voicing
Tonality and voicing have been matched with Bose Professional AM array modules and AMU utility loudspeakers. This approach allows different loudspeaker types to be combined within the same system while reducing configuration time and preserving consistent sound quality.
Beamwidth Matching Waveguide Technology
Low- and high-frequency beamwidths have been aligned through the crossover region using a proprietary waveguide design. As a result, even coverage, smooth frequency response, and consistent projection have been achieved throughout the listening area.
Rotatable Coverage Pattern
A 110° × 60° coverage angle has been provided, with the ability to switch between horizontal and vertical orientation by rotating the cabinet. This adjustment can be completed without tools or disassembly, supporting fast system optimization on site.
Lightweight and Transport-Friendly Design
A 13 kg (29 lb) cabinet has been constructed from Baltic birch plywood and fitted with a large ergonomic handle. A 35 mm pole mount adaptor has been included, allowing rapid setup and transport in portable sound systems.
System Integration and Protection
Optimal performance and loudspeaker protection can be achieved when the AMM108 is paired with Bose Professional PowerMatch amplifiers and ControlSpace DSP. This combination supports precise tuning and reliable operation in professional environments.
Versatile Mounting Options
Permanent or portable installation has been simplified through support for optional U-brackets, suspension brackets, and pan-and-tilt brackets for RMU applications. Six integrated M10 threaded inserts are provided for custom suspension solutions.
